Aging Vets mission is to help disadvantaged seniors remain in the comfort and safety of their own home. Aging Vets provides temporary financial assistance to avoid institutionalization or welfare services as their only choice for ADL (activities of daily living) assistance and protection from the hazards of their daily living environment. This program is not intended as a supplemental income source or an annual entitelment.
Aging Veterans Care Relief Fund is dedicated and committed to educate and assist all U.S. Veterans on the availability and types of senior care providers, and the financial assistance benefits available for geriatric care management, care coordination and non-medical home care services. In addition, Aging Vets plans to provide exclusive educational benefits to those senior veterans through sponsored higher education opportunities developed exclusively for American Veterans and their families.
No qualified individual will be declined assistance under the program based on age, race, nationality, gender or religious affiliations/beliefs. A sliding scale of need is established to ensure equitable access to temporary financial assistance based on financial need and care level requirements.
Board members represent each branch of the U. S. military services joined by well qualified non military individuals who bring expertise in the fields of legal, financial and marketing services to the Aging Veterans organization.
